Tucker Green
President
Tucker Green is an experienced lobbyist with the firm he founded and ardently champions the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia as the Executive Director. His commitment to water resource management propels him to advocate for sustainable drilling practices and responsible industry growth. He draws inspiration from his grandfather’s involvement in the Conditioned Air Association and the HVAC industry.
While a student at the University of Georgia in 2018, Tucker was inspired to run for local school board member to champion quality education for the youngest members of his community. He was, at that time, the youngest elected official in Pickens County and the youngest school board member in Georgia.
In 2021, Tucker was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who for his early success as a lobbyist. He was voted Top 5 in Georgia for James Magazine’s Rising Star Lobbyists of the Year in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Tucker actively engages in the community, leading as President of the Optimist Club of Jasper and participating at Riverdale Baptist Church. During his free time, he enjoys golf, hunting, spending time with family, and passionately cheering for the Dawgs!
Because of his willingness to advocate for causes he believes in, his political astuteness, and his proven strong work ethic, Tucker is the best candidate for Republican Leadership for Georgia’s 2024 class president. He possesses a distinctive blend of professional expertise and youthful enthusiasm.
Cathy Powers
Vice-President
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Cathy spent her childhood and adolescence following her Air Force father around the world, living in Taiwan, Oklahoma, Germany & France.
Cathy attended the University of Georgia and had a long career in real estate including Commercial, Residential, Horse Farms and Property Management. She received her Broker’s License in 2000 while living in North Fulton County where she owned horse farms over a 10 year period. During her real estate career, Cathy was awarded numerous awards for excellence, including being in the Top 100 Agents in Atlanta in 2005.
A long time resident of Sandy Springs, Cathy and her husband moved to St. Simons Island in 2020. She currently resides there with Bill and fur baby, Charlie. Her passion and love for this country led her to become involved with the Glynn County GOP where she quickly moved from serving as Assistant Secretary to being the current 1st Vice Chair. She has been a county, district and state delegate. She is involved with the Glynn County Board of Elections as a volunteer auditor and serves as an Early Voting Poll Worker and Assistant Poll Manager for St. Williams precinct on St. Simons. In addition, she is a member of the State Committee.
One of Cathy’s proudest political accomplishments has been her selection to the RLG program. Personally, her passion for gardening led her to the Cassina Garden Club on St Simons. Her heart’s work is being a volunteer for Hospice of Golden Isles.
Winslow Jones
Secretary
Winslow is an Atlanta-based physical therapist with an orthopedic clinical specialist certification and a strong performing arts background. She earned a BFA in Musical Theater in 2008 from the University of Mississippi followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from Georgia State University. Winslow performed in professional musical theater between 2006 and 2012 in Montana and Arizona and has worked as a physical therapist since 2015.
Winslow’s interest in politics hit a peak in 2020 when she joined the Atlanta Young Republicans. Her heavy involvement in AYR events lead to her election as Vice-President of Membership in 2021. She currently serves as AYR President. Winslow is also the 2024 Assistant Secretary for Fulton County’s new 6th congressional district.
In her free time, Winslow attends the Cathedral at Christ the King, sings with a folk rock cover band called West End Steel, and likes to explore hiking trails and wineries.
Brett Adams
Treasurer
Brett wants to orient the Treasurer role to work best for RLG and its current needs. To do this, he will:
- Ensure transparency and accountability for both incoming and outgoing funds;
- Assist RLG and Mansell in sending timely invoices;
- Update the means of collecting funds by evaluating the need and use of credit and debit card payment systems; and
- Investigate the interest in and potential need for an RLG endowment fund to keep this important program running for decades to come.
Brett is the chair of his church’s finance council, overseeing more than a million dollars worth of assets and almost a million dollars worth of annual income, in addition to the church’s endowment fund which he has helped double in size over the past three years. He oversees two charitable funds, as well as formerly assisting the funding arm for a county’s Accountability Court programs. At his private law firm, along with his legal duties, he also has oversight for the firm’s financial accounts and ensuring legal and ethical accountability for those funds.
Let’s Build Something Together
The Pachyderms’ mission is to unify RLG and CLI by fostering communication via effective means like social media, email, and our website. By amplifying our collective voice, we aim to strategically elect principled candidates across all levels of the Georgia Republican Party. This endeavor is pivotal for the state’s political landscape and future, ensuring the ascendancy of dedicated individuals aligned with our values.
We as alumni of RLG and CLI understand the importance of strong leadership and a measured strategy. By sticking together, we can ensure that future GOP leadership shares our vision.
